Living in Quarantine is not necessarily new for me and my family. While our son was battling cancer for 4 years, we lived most of our days cut off from the rest of the world. It was one of the most stressful times in my life.
I understand not feeling like you have time to take care of yourself because you have a family that needs you for so many things.
As women and moms, we somehow feel an overwhelming responsibility for everyone and everything. I eventually realized that if I didn’t care for myself physically, emotionally, and spiritually, I would never truly be able to give our son what he needed during the fight of his life.
However, as we know, it doesn’t take a serious medical crisis in your family for you to put your needs last. The stress of a global pandemic can certainly affect how you care for yourself.
Our son’s journey taught me so much. God used it to strengthen me so that I could help other women. It is now my mission to help women transform the relationship they have with themselves so that they can create a life they love.
